Frequently asked

My apps aren't locking during the window

The lock relies on Apple's Screen Time. Three things to check: Screen Time access is granted to TweetLock (Settings → Screen Time, or re-run setup in the app), you've selected at least one app or category to lock, and your lock schedule's start time is correct for your time zone.

After a reinstall or a new iPhone, you may need to grant Screen Time access and re-select your apps — those choices are kept on the device by Apple, not on our servers. If it still won't arm, email us your iOS version.

Posting to X failed, or I need to reconnect

If a post fails, TweetLock tries to refresh your X authorization automatically. If it keeps failing, disconnect and reconnect X from Settings → 𝕏 account, then post again.

X also enforces rate limits. If you've posted a lot in a short window, wait a few minutes and retry. Duplicate posts (the same text twice) are rejected by X — change the text and try again.

Managing my subscription, restoring, or refunds

Manage or cancel TweetLock Pro in your Apple ID: Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or from Settings → Subscription in the app. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the period ends.

Switched devices or reinstalled? Use Restore Purchases in Settings → Subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. See the subscription terms for details.

My streak is wrong or didn't update

Streaks are calculated on the server from the posts you publish, using your time zone. A streak counts the day you actually post your update; if you post just after midnight, it lands on the new day. Travel across time zones can shift the boundary.

If a post went through to X but your streak didn't move, give it a moment to sync, then reopen the app. Still off? Email us your X handle and the date in question.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Delete account in the app and confirm. This permanently removes your TweetLock account, your posting history, and your streaks, revokes the X authorization we hold, and clears the app's data from your device.

Updates you already published stay on your X timeline — delete those from X directly. Prefer we handle it? Email support@tweetlock.online from your account. More detail is in the Privacy Policy.

What data does TweetLock collect?

Your X profile basics, the updates you publish, your streak, and your settings. Which apps you lock never leaves your phone — Apple's Screen Time keeps that on-device, and we can't see it. We don't sell data or run ad tracking.

The full breakdown is in the Privacy Policy.
